Save The Date!

Ale and James are getting married!

"There comes a time in every man's life when he must stop thinking and start doing"

Thus we stopped thinking, and made it so

Our story started like many modern 21st century couples - on the Internet. It was August 2018; we were half a nation apart – James in Kansas City & Ale in Miami – and neither looking for love. But she was persistent and compassionate. He was funny and always had a story to tell. A few messages eventually led to phone calls (some were hours long). A few phone calls led to virtual dates – imagine video chatting while both going to the same restaurant over a thousand miles apart. A few virtual dates eventually led to a plane ticket. And then another. And another. We had quickly become best friends, and what better way to spend time with your best friend than moving and putting five states between you and anything you’ve ever known? So that’s exactly what she did. On May 15th, 2019, the adventure began. Since then, there have of course been ups and downs, but we have discovered new hobbies together, visited a total of 23 US states and 2 foreign countries, and learned more about each other than ever thought possible. We have made our own stories, bought a house together, and shared so many tears and laughs. We have truly become partners in every aspect of the word. Join us this December 2024 as we celebrate our next step with those that mean the most to us.

Why Savannah?

Established in 1733, Savannah is the oldest city in the state of Georgia. Things that come to mind when we think of this city are beautifully preserved antebellum architecture, old cobblestone roads, peaceful greenery, delicious food and enough ghost stories to keep you up at night. Sounds wonderful? Ale thinks so!
